1st Place in Hair Competition – Overall Style Competition (Hair & Make-Up) and 2011 Sponsor of the Year Award for Future Production for Ms MN Teen and Ms MN USA.
Andrew Schmitz's nearly decade of passion for caring for people began with professionally training as a Cosmetologist at Mankato School of Cometology after graduating from Mankato East High School. His continued with becoming Professional Certified in Cinderalla Hair Extension, (Among other Extension Companies ), Relaxer Care & Services, Keratin Smoothing Treatments, Air Brush Tanning, Braiding Textured Hair. Andrew specializes in working with women to alleviate hair loss, Hair Design, Creative Design and Consultation.
Andrew Schmitz experience includes Coordinator for a Fashion Show for Regis Salon, local Heartland Beauty Expo, a finalist for reality TV Show “Sheer Genius”, a featured Hairstylist on “Bridzilla” ( TV channel 'WE").
Andrew Schmitz work is featured in (Film Work) an indie film produced by David Abbitt, Jen Roskind and Sharyn Steele entitled “Lumpy” with actors Justin Long, Jess Weixler, Tyler Labine, Addison Timlin with co-stars Michael Landes, Evan Jones and Shelley Long; (Video Work) training videos for the Artistic Department for Regis Corporation; (Photo Work) hair styles with acclaimed photographers - Paula Preston, Fadil Berisha, Michael Solberg, Dan Davis; (Celebrity Make-Up Artist) Brenda Torre, Kari Kisch and many others.
